Fan Poetry

Each one of us, a loving fan
I really hope he knew
How many would miss, and think of him
Our one and only Lew

He was a star
Of this we're sure,
Who lived across the pond
But let's be clear,
U.S....U.K
He SHOULD have been Mr Bond!

I just wanted to leave a little verse,
Send love to his sons and wife,
And to simply say "Thanks" to such a special guy
Who made an impression in my life

Gone but not forgotten ~ RIP Lew ~ A fan x

People have past and people have gone
but we should of known he should have been bond,
007 he really was
didn't get the chance but didn't give fock,
let's face he wasn't even shaken or stirred by the fact,
he loved his family and that's a fact

To the memory of the iconic Bodie:

Capri in the Sky

When we were kids
I was Doyle
and my brother was you
tackling terrorists,
pursuing them in that car
speed limits waived,
handbrake turns
sharp as knives
wrestled from assailants
chased down side streets.

Former police officer
and SAS sergeant pressed together
to coin CI5
licenced to thwart organised crime,
bludgeon political intrigue
with guns, fists
and your witty retorts.

A dynamic theme tune
stirring our machismo every week,
we reconstructed action scenes
with carpet rolls and sofa dives
rescuing our sister from the clutches
of a megalomaniac.

The arguments, fall outs
and love hate relationship
we skimmed over like friendships
that would never sink
as our adolescent awakenings
were drawn to which of us
would get the girl that week.

OUR LEW

WHEN THE NEWS BROKE THAT OUR LEW WAS GONE,
ALL OF YOUR FANS... WE GRIEVED AS ONE,
FOR A LIFE CUT SHORT..ONCE SO VITAL AND STRONG,
RUNNING AROUND..A GUN IN YOUR HAND,
SAVING FOLKS FROM VILLAINS AND GANGS,
SUCH AN IMPACT YOU HAD ON OUR LIVES,
TO LOSE YOU SO SOON, IT CUTS LIKE A KNIFE,
WE’LL TRY TO REMEMBER AND NOT BE TOO SAD,
AS WE VIEW THOSE VIDS WITH DOYLE AT YOUR BACK,
LOOKING BACK AT THE GOOD TIMES
THE MISCHIEVOUS GLINT IN YOUR EYE,
FOREVER ALIVE IN OUR HEARTS AND OUR MINDS.

RIP LEWIS. YOU WILL GREATLY MISSED.

If I could have just one dream,
I know what it would be,
that you would be on our screens,
for everyone to see.

And if I could have just one more dream,
that no one else could see,
I'd tell you that you are loved,
but only just for me.

Lots of love Alison ynwa xx

Lewis Collins, Lewis Collins, you make my pulse rate rise;
I long to see that perfect face and drown in those blue eyes;
It's been too long without your presence on our T.V screens;
I fear you've turned your back on fame but still a girl can dream!

Lots of Love Lewis, Suexx

from REEM to my dear LEWIS

share my life
take me for what i am
cause i'll never change
all my colours for you
take my love
i'll never ask for too much
just all that you are
and everything that you do
i don't really need to look
very much further
i don't want to have to go
where you don't follow
i won't hold it back again
this passion inside
can't run from myself
there's nowhere to hide
stay in my arms if you dare
or must i imagine you there
don't walk away from me
i have nothing....nothing....nothing
if i don't have you ....you....

love you so much dear LEWIS

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MR. COLLINS

Take a look out of your cyber window
A crowd is gathering fast
With Lewis' Ladies and Bodie' s Babes
Reminiscing about the past

That' s all we can do since you left us
We understand your view
But absence makes the heart grow fonder
We can testify to you

But today we just want to think of you
And shout it till you hear
We hope you know how much you' re loved
That we still hold you dear

Let me wish sincerely here
With just one chance to say
Keep those who are dearest near to you
For a very 'Happy Birthday'.

Lots of love on your special day, Susan xxx (aka: Orphelin, Dottiesue2, fanofmrc)
