The Cox Twins, Fred and Frank, were identical, and married to The Miles Twins, Pauline and Estelle, also identical. Sadly, Estelle died during rehearsals for this show but in true showbusiness tradition the others carried on with the show.
Lewis’s comment:
"It's great to get away from the rough-and-ready image" Daily Record, 13th July, 1984
“It’s great to get away from playing the hard man. Dandini is a very different rôle, but I have played Prince Charming before. And people forget I did play a poofter in the comedy series The Cuckoo Waltz." Unknown Newspaper, 1984
Reviews:
"Lewis Collins proved he really is one of the professionals by displaying an impressive variety of talents including singing, dancing and ad libbing when everyone else got it wrong." The Stage, 24th January, 1985
